Plastic, no more?

Per the Herald Times…

As of Wednesday, the Monroe County Solid Waste District is no longer accepting any type of plastic bag, trash bag, shrink wrap, dry cleaner film, food storage bags or other similar types of plastic bags.

The sudden change for the solid waste district was in response to a growing glut of plastics at recycling plants in the U.S. and around the world, and a shrinking number of companies willing to process the bags.
