Homeowners Have Options with Neighboring Unmowed Lawns in the Highlands

Sometimes circumstances prevent homeowners from maintaining their lawns during the summer mowing season.

If your neighbor has neglected their lawn care responsibility and tall grass is becoming a nuisance, the best course of action is to talk to the homeowner and politely explain your concerns.

Additionally, homeowners may contact the Perry Township Trustee’s office at 812-336-3713 to inquire about filling out a “Weed Complaint” form. The trustee’s office has the authority to remedy such related complaints. This action must be done by the homeowner; the Association can not file complaints on behalf of individual homeowners in the Highlands.
